Description
A spreading, evergreen tree eventually reaching to 20m tall but more usually reaching a height of around 10m in cultivation. Glossy, dark green, lanceolate leaves are strongly aromatic. Small clusters of creamy-yellow flowers in late spring may be followed by oval fruits to 2.5cm long ripening from green to purple
