A grass with evergreen foliage native to Whenchuan in the Sichuan province, China. It grows up to 4m tall and is hardy to -20°C. This plant prefers semi-shade to full sun and thrives in moist, rich and deep. avoid excess of lime soil. Flowers appear in summer.
